My Philosophy on Happy

     I believe that happiness is a choice. It's not granted to you by any god, or stolen from you by any ex boyfriend. You have to decide to be happy- and it's easy! All you need is some meditation, yoga, and a boost of confidence because you are awesome. Of course a little retail therapy doesn't hurt along the way. Change is an awesome concept, it's like this super power instilled in us humans. If we see something in ourselves that we don't like, we are given the chance to change it. In other words, we are created with this opportunity to be the best possible versions of ourselves. How cool is that? Another thing that's pretty cool is a smile. Did you know that by smiling, even if you are faking it, it can trick your brain into thinking that you're happy? So even if you're having a rough day at work, spare yourself a smile!

How I Spend My Time

     I like to make myself out to be this extravagant hybrid of a teenager, but is there really such thing? I write a lot of books that will never get published, I brainstorm the perfect blog post only to forget it ten minutes later, and I sing original compositions to an acoustic guitar with no intention of rising to fame. I decorate and redecorate my room to reflect my personality, but I don't even know who I am. I fill my head with stellar music, and familiarize myself with new genres when I'm free. I'm the blonde hair, doe-eyed cheerleader skipping through the hallways until soccer season starts, and I have to exchange my pom poms for cleats. I meditate before bed, and do yoga every morning. My latest fantasy has been seeing myself as a pod-caster for an alternative hip-hop radio. I think it'd be cool to share and interpret the music and artists. That's kinda the phase I'm into right now.
